Aims and Scope:

 

 

    Annals of the University of Oradea - Geography Series is an international scientific publication. The journal is issued under the aegis and with financial support of the University of Oradea, Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning, Territorial Studies and Analyses Centre (Romania). The journal has been published since 1967 (between 1967 - 1979 the old series, starting with 1990 - the new series). Its English full version started in 2008, since 2010 the journal has been published in 2 yearly issues.

    The journal aims to publish relevant contributions in Geography and other areas whose analysis is related to these fields, standing out through originality and scientific enhancement to the knowledge and development of this area. An important objective is to promote academic and applied research based on interdisciplinarity with a complex local and global approach. The content of the publication is intended for a heterogenous community made of students, teaching staff and practitioners showing interest in geography and where the synthetic approach triggered by the connection of social and physical sciences (environmental) can contribute substantially to the understanding, promotion and development of places, regions and the territory in its whole.

    The review meets the international requirements concerning the publication norms and ethics.

    The Annals of the University of Oradea - Geography Series publishes double blind reviewed research articles, review articles, commentaries, literature reviews and news of affiliated organisations.
